9 Months Old

I can't put into words how much I love this little boy. He holds my heart.

                                                                      9 Months:
Already a girl magnet. (Oh dear.)
Crawling, pulling up, walking along furniture.
Says: Mama, Dada, Bug, More, Hot, I love you, Car, BaBa, Bath, Wa Wa.

Loves: Smooching his Mommy (YEEEEESSSSS!!!!), Getting into "No Bosco!!" things, talking to Daddy on the phone on his lunch break, pulling G's hair, yelling for V ("Bug!"), playing with Dad, giving Mom grey hairs, getting into things, being a daredevil, showing off, playing with his sisters, food, eating, taking baths, and being outside.
Hates: Having his hair brushed and having the phone taken away from him. He will scream, and shout, and yell, and lecture you. All at the same time. I kid you not.

Thank You, Ed and Lisa!

The kids LOVE their "New York" shirts. They couldn't believe that the package was for them and they squealed when they saw that Bosco had a matching one too. Gethey clasped her shirt to her chest and exclaimed, "Mommy, I LUFF dis shirt! It is my favOrite, favOrite ever. When can I dress up!!? Can I take the tag off????" Verity also put hers on immediately and wants to wear it everywhere. Boss...well, just look at the glint in his eye in the last picture. Thank you so much!

The Easter Dress

Yes. The dress needs its own blog post.
To say that Gethsemane is obsessed with the dress would be the understatement of the year. She gasped when we bought it for Easter a few weeks before, and looked at it everyday in her closet of those weeks. "Mommy, WHEN it is gonna be EASTER and I can wear my EASTER DRESS?!"

Well. Easter finally came and she was more excited about putting on this dress than about her basket of treats. We went to Easter Mass and she was extra quiet thanks to looking at and patting the dress. (Except for a panicked bellow at Daddy at one point: "DADDY IS SITTING ON MY EASTER DRESS!!!")

The next crisis came when it was time to go for our Easter hike at the park. I was changing the kids out of their Easter outfits into run-around-and-get-dirty clothes and tennis shoes, and she started wailing. "But I don't want to change out of my EASTER DRESS!  I want to wear my EASTER DRESS all day and never ever take it off!"
So she went on the hike in her Easter dress.

I'll let you guess what bedtime was like.
