A Little of G

I love this age. She is saying the funniest things, and I love getting to know her personality better and better each day. I write down the cute things she says on little scraps of paper or receipts to someday put in her baby book. Here are some recent gems:

When we went camping with family and friends, we went for a group walk around the camp grounds. Gethey was the youngest one walking. All of a sudden a deer walked in front of us, and I said, "Look everyone! A deer!" There was silence for about 20 seconds as everyone watched the deer eating, not wanting to scare it. Then from the back of the group, Gethey states: "Actually...that's a goat."

After watching "Cinderella" I asked the girls who their favorite character in the movie was. Verity said, "Gus," and Gethey said, "The pink dress."

The girls are loving playing Memory with Dr. Seuss cards. They Play together throughout the day and then with Matthew when he gets home from work. Gethey always goes after the pictures that have pink in them. Once when she got a good match, she picked up the cards and said, "Boom! That just happened."

Love this girl.
